Beautiful! I love how you made the hummingbird so delicate and the flower so pretty. How do you get the feathers, from stores, or find them, or what?

hehe.. various places :D people know I paint on feathers, so when they find them, they bring them to me. this one actually came from a crane (shhhh it's only /slightly/ illegal :P ) that flew into a bridge and broke it's neck on a friend's farm...
bad for the crane, good for me.
anyway, i saved a whole bunch of it's feathers, and the wing feathers in particular are great for painting on...
the others i used are turkey tail feathers, and those came from my uncle who's a big bird hunter. I got some canada goose feathers the same way!
