Dark in My Imagination-Anomalous PredicamentChapter One: Anomalous Predicament
A piercing scream awoke Lumina.
The sound was absolutely pitiful. What or rather who was crying out in agony? It was a mixture of desolation and disgrace along with the pain. Repetitively, it kept ringing in her ears, refusing to be ignored. Though, this wail for deliverance was not from a child. Odd, usually she could only hear the little ones pleading for help. It was strangely enough two souls seeming trapped inside of one body.
Blinking, the angel roused from her slumber with a stretch of her large wings. There she had been resting in the high clouds above Niagara Falls. The melodic sound of the water had lulled her into a peaceful sleep after a long day of work. There was nothing wrong with taking a well deserved rest, yes? Picking up her staff, the seraphim gazed over the ground below her. No one was in distress here. No one was injured or in danger. All the children were safe. At the moment, the lots of them were being fascinated by the majesti
Dark in My Imagination-A Time to HealChapter Four: A Time to Heal
This was such a weird dream. What was that fluttering white figure doing? The voice was too slurred to understand. Pitch gave a weak groan, feeling rather achy all over his body. But, the Nightmare King didn’t dream like some naïve child! Matter of fact, he hardly ever slept. His mind never stopped racing anyway to try to sleep. Besides, why slumber when there was no need to with such power? His job was at night, to scare the little ones.
Oh, right… was the Nightmare King. He had been overthrown.
After nearly an hour of flying, Lumina found a safe place for the two of them to rest and make camp. Right now, Pitch was first priority. He had lost so much blood. The gash across his back was still bleeding. The extent of the rest of his injuries was still unknown to her. Not only had it soaked through his tattered cloak, but seeped into the angel’s clothing as well. Resting the fallen king against an oak tree, the angel quickly set to wor
Dark in My Imagination-Stumbling BlocksChapter Two: Stumbling Blocks
What a sight. The angel was sure this topped a lot of weird things she had seen over the centuries. Lumina stood over the opening and looked down into the blackness. A hole in the ground surrounded by what looked like a broken bed took the top in rank as far as out of the ordinary lair entrances. Was this the right place? MiM was hardly ever incorrect about locations but this one time, Lumina wished he was wrong.
“Who wants to go down the creepy hole first? Any volunteers?” Lumina said aloud to the small creatures of the forest, knowing the animals were not listening anyway, “Anyone at all?” She looked to the left and then to the right. With a shrug, she sighed, “… well, I guess that means ladies first.”
Twirling her staff of sterling silver, the Guardian Angel leapt into the hole. Noticing the cold draft, Lumina’s skin instantly coated with chill bumps. There were lanterns… no, cages dangling from th

For those asking, I'm animating directly into the computer using a Wacom tablet. The animation program I'm using is TVPaint Animation 10 Pro. Super expensive so I use the school computers, but it's like the illegitimate love-child between Photoshop and Adobe After Effects without Flash's niggling tendencies to crash every ten minutes. That program is sex. <3
Dark in my Imagination-The BeastChapter Three: The Beast
Pitch was absolutely positive the angel was dead. His heartbeat was beating so fast he was certain the Night-Mares could hear it. Hell, the damn horses could smell his apprehension like a sugar cube. There was no movement. There was no sign she was still living.
That was until the Nightmare King saw a bright flash of light. A couple of loud cracks echoed through the lair as the light burst like a firework. Was it her? Yes! Yes, the fallen leader thought he saw those grandiose wings unfurled! Even from the ledge, the radiating glow hurt his eyes. Her power… how was it a being so beautiful could still be so deadly?
An ear-shattering roar echoed through the lair.
Deafening, the noise caused a few of the suspended cages to fall from the ceiling. Hastily, the Nightmare King scurried to get out of the target zone. A cage barely missed him as he moved out of the way. What was that noise?! More so, what caused that bellow? Having a gut-twisting feeling the howl
