Instead of paying me outright, would you be willing to order something for me from the internet instead?
Basically, there are two things I want, and have no money for (yay!). So I thought instead of taking on a couple more commissions and having you send me the money, then put the money in my bank, then order my stuff... wouldn't it be faster this way?
Both are vitiman/herbal supplements from amazon.com, so it's nothing scary or embarassing :}
One is $26, the other is $50. (and that's without shipping..which really shouldn't be more than 3 or 4 dollars) I could do two seperate commissions with two seperate people, or if you wanted a bigger nicer image from me, one person could do both!

I try to price my images not by how many characters or how detailed the background, but how much time I think I'll end up spending on them. ;}

I also MUST make it clear up front that I work pretty slowly. The only time I get to work on art is after kids go to bed, and I go until I just can't stay awake any longer
I have other commissions I'm currently working on, but I get at LEAST 5 nights of the week dedicated to artwork. I try to make it every night. So you must not mind a slow process...if you want your picture in under a couple weeks, seek elsewhere and we'll both be happier!and of course, THANKS for even considering!!!

and then you would do the commission?
I've seen other folks do stuff like this.. it's more like a trade than a paid commission, I guess.
and it does look like a better method for being able to obtain what you need quickly without the inbetween hassle.
