Firstly, I'd like to release upon you all another of my fantastic little art students, :iconalbusaumlupus:

she's brand new to DA, and sort of new to the digital art world in general.. but she's a quick learner so I'm not too worried.  So go say hi!  throw some welcome-koi at her or something XD

secondly, we figured out our second child is a little boy!  His due date is june 5th (halfway theeerrreee)...
any good name ideas?  We were thinking something german, since both jared and I are half-german..
I love Wolfgang, but *kaff* i dunno if he'd appreciate that later when all the other kids are making fun of him :P

anyway, annie gets a little brother.  She has no clue, but she LOVES babies and trying to take care of them, so I have full confidences in her that she'll be a great big sister. :}

as for art and commissoins, I'm slowwwwly chipping away at my pile...
slowly. o.o
  • Mood: Adoration
  • Listening to: annie's toy piano
  • Reading: this screen, duh
  • Eating: tangerines
  • Drinking: water with annie floaties in it

Well congrats to you both. I'm an old mom and have a very old baby book that tells you where the name comes from. Here's some names for ya: Cyrus (old persian), Damon (Greek), Dedrick (German - Ruler of the People), Ehren (old German, honorable one), Emery (German - Industrious), Godfrey (German, Divinely peaceful), Obert (German - brilliant one), Reynard (German - Mighty-brave). There you go a nice sampling.

A boy? Yay! Um, Ranier is German, I think, Axel, Johannes. My favorite German girl names are Silke and Sabine, although you're having a boy. Ah well! [link] is a good place to look. :) Wolfgang is cool, perhaps you can shorten it to just Wolf?

names huh? I've always liked the name William, it means "Resolute protector" and is a popular name in Germany :-)

i think wolfgang is an awesome name. that was always my favorite name while taking german classes in school. and of he gets picked on, just have him tell the other kids he was named after someone famous for their music. lol

congrats on having a little boy!

she loves to drink from /my/ cup, and sometimes she leaves a little.. erm.. backwash.
i think it takes little kids awhile to learn how to drink without leaving whatever was in their mouth before behind. :D
