Biography

I'm never sure what to say in these things. :}


I'm an artist, but also a mom of 2 and a housewife, so things can get rather busy around here!


Unfortunately the art projects sometimes get pushed to the bottom of the to-do list, but it's always what I look forward to at the end of the day to relax and enjoy after the kiddies go to bed.


I have my roots in traditional art - mainly colored pencils and acrylics - but am also totally taken with digital media.


Things of a natural.. nature are easiet for me, while man-made things are more of a struggle to portray. If you need something like that, talk to my husband. :D


I've had some art classes while in college, but I'm mostly self-taught. I also teach what I've learned to a few local friends, and there are few things more satisfying.


I also work for a local pet & garden company called Zamzows; I design the labels and packaging for their own line of products.
